I thought I would take this time to welcome you to the charming, little town of Fair Oaks Village.
Where the wild chickens really do rule the roost!
I visited my favorite, local fabric store Tayos and bought some fine silk/Rayon velvets and a fabric- paper-doll kit.
I went for a walk across the Fair Oaks Bridge..........
Sometimes you have to take time to stop and smell the Queen Anne's Lace??? I must be mad indeed!
I stopped by Dianda's Italian Bakery to pick up a lovely treat. MMMMMM!
No time to make the bed today, so much to do, no time to play................
Yes this is really my bed and no, it still has not been made! Oh for shame!!!
And now I must go the faeries await, I must apologize, for I am terribly LATE!!!
i love queen anne's lace. i tried to dig some out of a lot and transplant it at home, but it never took. now i have a plant that kind of looks like pink queen anne's lace. i have no idea what it's called!

I LOVE Queen Anne's Lace too. I have some in a less than ideal spot in my front-side garden, the unruly flower bed. I leave it there even though it doesn't really go. I didn't plant it, it just grows very, wild all around me. My husband doesn't like it, to wild for his taste, he pulls it out everywhere else but, I make him leave it there. He has deemed the unruly flower bed my domain. He will not touch it anymore.
