A few more details about Magdalena- My Sugar Skull, Spanish Dancer. She is 30" tall, made of polymer clay (bust, hands, forearms, calves, feet/shoes), hair is black Tibetan lambs' wool and red mohair (not a wig. Hair is applied directly to the head), acrylic paint, paper and lace fan, Dress is hand dyed cotton batik fabric. Dress was made without the use of any patterns machine and hand sewn directly to the body and is not removable. Wood box (made by my talented and adoring husband) painted with acrylic paint, embellished with hand painted lace, shisha mirrors, lace doily, and assorted other trims.
